Who these terms cover
Max & Mia is a product of Atlas Innovation Ventures Ltd ("Atlas", "we" or "us"). These terms apply to the business that signs up for Max & Mia ("you") and its authorised account users. If you sign up on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to do so. Max & Mia is designed for business use, not personal household use.
Your plan or written order sets the features, charges and allowances that apply to you. Read those details alongside these terms before accepting a plan. If a specific written order conflicts with these general terms, the order controls for that point.
What the service does
Max & Mia can answer calls to an assigned work number using the business information you publish. It prepares a job card with details for you to check and follow up. It does not quote prices, diagnose a problem, book a visit, promise availability or guarantee attendance. You decide how to respond to a caller and what work to accept.
Speech recognition and AI can make mistakes, especially with noise, accents or incomplete answers. Review every job card and, when available, the call transcript before relying on it. Do not use Max & Mia to provide emergency response or professional safety advice.
Accounts and numbers
Keep your account details accurate and access to your sign-in method secure. Your business can configure an assigned Max & Mia number and, where supported, forwarding from an existing carrier number. Your existing number remains with your carrier; an assigned service number depends on the telephony provider and your active plan.
You control forwarding on your existing line. Turning off Max & Mia, cancelling a plan, or uninstalling the app may not switch off forwarding at your carrier. Check and reverse it separately when you stop using the service. Do not publish an assigned number as permanently yours without confirming a supported transfer arrangement.
Your responsibilities
- Publish correct business details, service area, hours and caller-facing instructions.
- Review job cards and make your own decisions about prices, bookings, safety and follow-up.
- Provide callers with any privacy information your business must give and use call information lawfully.
- Keep carrier forwarding settings and your account access under your control.
- Do not use the service for unlawful, deceptive, abusive or emergency handling.
Customer information
You remain responsible for the enquiries your callers give you. Atlas handles that data to provide and secure Max & Mia, subject to the applicable privacy and processing arrangements. We use account and service information for billing, support, security and legal duties. Our privacy policy explains call notices, operational recording, retention and data rights. Operational recordings and transcripts are not permission to train models or market to callers.
Plans and billing
The plan or checkout shows the price, any trial, included usage, billing period, credits and applicable extra charges before you confirm payment. A promotion does not change future plan charges unless its terms say so. Stripe handles card payments; Max & Mia keeps subscription status and payment references, not full card details.
Check your plan in Account and use the billing portal when available to manage payment and cancellation. Contact support if a charge or subscription status looks wrong. Nothing here removes statutory rights that apply to you.
Pausing or ending service
You can turn off call handling in the app and cancel an eligible subscription through the billing portal. Cancellation timing, credits and charges follow your chosen plan and any applicable law. We may suspend access where needed to deal with fraud, security issues, unlawful use or an unpaid plan. If service ends, check forwarding with your carrier and arrange another way to answer calls. See account deletionfor removing app access and requesting help.
Availability and limits
Calls depend on phone networks, cloud services and AI providers. Interruptions and incorrect output are possible; Max & Mia should not be your only way for customers to reach you when a missed call could create serious harm. We will not knowingly exclude a legal right or responsibility that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Any specific service commitment must be stated in your plan or written order.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms when the product, provider arrangements or legal requirements change. The update date appears above. Material changes to a current paid plan will be communicated as required by law or your agreement. Questions about these terms or a plan can be sent through support.
