AI Call Handling For Trades1 min read

How Max & Mia is designed for interruption, silence, and a dropped call

The target recovery path uses bounded prompts, preserves confirmed facts where appropriate, and marks incomplete calls honestly.

A controlled call-to-job-card flow ending in owner review.

Max & Mia's target recovery behaviour treats interruption, silence, and connection loss as normal call states that need explicit outcomes.

When a caller interrupts, confirmed facts should remain available and the conversation should continue from what is still missing. Silence should trigger a bounded prompt, not an endless loop. A dropped connection should leave a partial or failed state rather than a complete-looking card.

Where policy allows confirmed details to be retained, the owner should see what was captured and why review is required. Where the service cannot continue, the caller should receive an honest close.

These are acceptance requirements, not measured production-performance claims. Test them with your own business context after changes to routing, instructions, models, or providers.
